Piece#3: At the front of this piece of cardboard was a cut-out for the overhead lamp. The cut-out was in the wrong position but not far enough off that it showed after trim-fitting the hole for the lamp.

More modern roof insulation (for heat and noise) replaced the waffle "board" that was originally used.
The insulation was attached with spray adhesive and the pieces were joined above the support strips. The insulation was installed in pieces, with "seams" underneath the roof bows (the insulation in the upper left has not yet been tucked under the roof bow).
