The ground cable from the head to the firewall is recommended with a radio installed. The heater hoses are not yet plumbed.

The radiator is in place and wiring/cables are ready to be connected.

The fenders went on easily and the grill is soon to be attached.

The dash is being prepped for painting of the radio grill stripes. The air-flow heater went in after muttering a few choice words.

The wind-up clock and turn-signals were first available on Chevrolet trucks in 1954; however, neither were originally installed on this truck.

More modern roof insulation (for heat and noise) replaced the waffle "board" that was originally used.

The insulation was attached with spray adhesive and the pieces were joined above the support strips.

The Suburban's rear "barn door" hinges are different from those on Panel trucks.
